Its about time!!!

I can't believe it!! finially, after 2 years, I got the call telling me they were doing the motion for us to adopt Emmy!
She will finially legally be mine!!! I am soo happy it's beyond word's how I feel right now.We have had her since she was about 5 month's old and she will be turning 3 in May.
I hope the adoption is final before her Birthday!

It's been a HARD couple of weeks. Hubby was involved in a hit and run, the front of the car is wrecked, the insurance company totaled it!! So now we have NO car! We are busy looking for a new one . But at least the insurance paid off the car.
Thank Goddess he was not hurt. The car can be replaced...

The day I married my soul mate, and we became one.
Everyday since I met him, is Valentines day for me..
I have never been so loved or felt so needed and wanted before in my life.

Emmy woke up at 4AM!!!! She came into my room, and stood at my side of the bed saying"mommy vake ups", I was already awake ( she is not very quiet when she wakes up!!) I just love hearing her tell me to Vake up's! I am Totally sure that the people in the condo below me are NOT so happy she's up at 4!! Oh well she's only 2!! Emmy run's through the house, we are working on getting her to Walk, but the one down stairs BANGS on her cieling with a Broom, I can't wait till she makes her cieling FALL!!!!Right now Emmy is sitting with a box of picture's, she carefully lift's out each one and try's to tell me who it is while Yogi the bear is making noise from the TV in the back ground. It's a Beautiful Day...

I got a call from my Daughter, She asked if I would adopt her other youngest daughter. Of course I said YES!! The baby is a year old now. I knew I kept Emmy's crib for a reason!She goes to court again tomorrow and she wants to sign over both girls to me, a dirrect adoption.
My heart aches for her! But I know it's for the best.
She has 7 kids and she just turned 30!
I guess I will know tomorrow if this two year long nightmare with DCF is over finially!!

Another Yule gone by, My home was filled with the laughter of a child again.It was a mixed day , I missed my grown kid's, but as kid's grow they have their own plans and since I am in a state over from where they are, they did'nt make it here yesterday. I saw the grand children and my daughter Sunday. That was very nice, Today I rested a little... my house look's like a tornado hit it!! LOL! How dose your's look?
I have room to room TOY"S!!! Yes another GREAT Yule..

We are heading to R.I. tomorrow, for a Yule visit (DCF) with my grand kids. I can't wait to see them again, yet I still hurt with the kind of pain only a mother can know. The pain that live's right inside your soul somewhere and never leaves you.
My Daughter called me last night, she was wrapping gift's for all her kids and she was crying! She won't see them on Xmas day, she will not see the joy in there eye's, she will not be able to hug them , she won't hear them say "Mommy, I love you"
There will be no Yule dinner at her house this year as there was none last year either, It has been 2 years now since they took her children.
It is here fault, she never got her priorities stright, Still, she is MY child and my heart is broken for her.
she will get to see them for an Hour tomorrow, Not neerly enough time to be with your children!
She has 7, the new baby is only a month old now.
For the most part, they are with family, they are loved and very well taken care of, they are also going to be adopted very soon by the people that have them, I am one, I was lucky enough to get Emmy when she was a little baby.
I just wrapped the present's We are taking , and I cry, I cry for what they have gone through, I cry for MY child, why did'nt she just listen to me when I tried to tell her?She would have her kids had she LISTENED!! I cry for not being able to see them often enough. I cry that they are seperated.And I cry because it all just HURT'S!
Tomorrow will be full of joy and heartache, it's so hard saying "BYE" to them,

Its almost Yule. I love this season, everything seem's so warm and inviting. The spectral mass of colors can be seen everywhere around you.
The excitement and rush of the season can be felt anywhere you go. It give's the allusion that the world is decorated and blanketed in Peace!
Give your children an extra tight hug and remember all those overseas that are to far away to hug their's.

I went to check on Emmy and look how she fell asleep!! She is too much. It always amazes me the way they can sleep so soundly in soo many different positions and places!!!

She dose'nt go anywhere without her "BABY" That is he doll's name, and she drag's her everywhere she goes! She also put's her Baby's PJ's into the laundry basket every couple days for me to wash them!! She's a good mommy.. LOL!

OK, so I got the music player attached and working here buuut, I can't get rid of the one up top!!! ERRRR! HELP!
It snowed again here yesterday, it was very slippery driving though. We are suppossed to get more snow tonight. I was hoping to go do some more Yule shopping tomorrow, but not if its bad out.Emmy has a favorite ornament now, she has been hanging it on the tree in different places all day today! I guess she will eventually hang it on a brance she likes! LOL. She is too cute!

We are suppossed to be getting more snow today, I like watching the snow through the windows, it looks like the trees bend and move with every flake that falls, as if they are intentionaly gathering up their snow flake jewel's!

I never knew just how muchstuff can be collected in 7 years!! I still have box's to unpack,almost every box I have unpacked, I pull out something and ask myself "WHY?' I have no idea why I have so much STUFF??? I am still throwing away as I am unpacking!!Our new home is taking shape nicely now, Some of the pictures are hung up now, the living room is put together, so is the kitchen. Our room has been the box deposit room! So there is still a lot to do. But it will all get done.I am still overwhelemed with all the room we have here .LOL! I feel like a fish in the ocean now instead of a sardene in a can!!

I got me a new digital camera today, Love, Love it!!! My old one takes really good pictures if you can get it all taped up to stay shut! Yep, it was time for a new camera. It's been a really good week for me so far, I would like to Thank my favorite Blogger Dairy wife.You can find her at...http://thesiekmantriplets.blogspot.com/ She is truly an amazing woman,I won a hand made photo charm from her, I can't wait to see it, she dose amazing work.
Anyway, Emmy has started settling in to this new home, She still yell's HEATHER, DIEGO.. Heather lived in the condo up stairs from us and her cat's name is Diego, Emmy Love's that cat! She just dosent understand that Heather is not upstairs now!! But we are not far from the old place so Heather is here all the time. Hubby went and got his Plazma 50 inch TV.. It's beautiful! Our other big screen TV is now in our room.. The room I have here is sooo Great! I am loving it! It's so nice not to be tripping over thing's now.I have a Huge closet in the kitchen, I have all my scrapbooking stuff in it, now I can just open the closet doors and scrap right at the kitchen table. I am so very Blessed! I remember that every day too!!

Welp, We are MOVED in . What a week! I have been soo sick, I finially went to the doctor's yesterday, I have an ear infection, swollen, inflamed throat and bronchitis ! No wonder I had a fever last week!!Anyway, now it's getting everything unpacked, put away, hung up, ETC....
I totally forgot about Thanksgiving!! OMG, I ran out yesterday to get a turkey breast and fixings for dinner.. So we will be having Turkey! Emmy just Love's her new room, she has so much space now, she has been playing in there since we moved! Her and I have had two TEA party's and a few Lunche's at her little table in her room.I must admit, I look forward to it, it's the best fun!!

We found a bigger house!!! Finially, we are moving Now I am packing up and Emmy is UNPACKING!! She is too cute! She dose'nt understand why everything is going into boxes now, she keeps taking thing's out and putting them back . I will get it all packed eventually... we are suppossed to move this weekend!
It's not a big farm house.. but the room's are huge, I will have a lot more room there.. I'm happy.

Isolation! Thats where I am right now, I am feeling very alone here in CT. all my family and friends are not in theis state.
We still have not found the right house to move to.. I guess I am just feeling sorry for myself today! I know I should'nt, I have soo very much to be gratefull for.
I think it's just everything right now, I need a bigger house to live in, a yard for Emmy to run in. I am also thinking about my grand children, all in DCF custody right now, they are taking away my daughter's right's. I feel hurt and pain right to my very soul and there is NOTHING I can do to fix it! I am her MOM after all, MOM'S FIX THING"S!!! but this thing, I can not fix and its eating me up inside! I keep telling myself "IF she had only listenned to me" when I tried to tell her she was screwing up!
But like many , she did not listen and look now what has happenned! I am not beating myself up for this anymore, I am beyond that now, all the "WHAT IF"S" but I still hurt for the children. I miss them, Now the only time I see them is at a controlled visit, for about an hour a month..I just needed to Vent a little, I feel better now..

I spent Sunday visiting my grand children at the DCF office. I got to see and hold my new grand son for the first time. He is sooo cute.
I had lots of fun playing with the kids and even more time trying not to let them see my heart breaking! I love them so much and I can't even begin to express the hurt I feel. I only get to see them every 3 weeks, that's when my Daughter can see them as well.
She seem's indifferent to the whole situation! These are her children! She dosen't even play or hug them. I just don't understand her.. I never will, I guess.But I still Love her too, she is my child and right now I think more than ever she need's her mom! Even if she won't admit it..

The crisp windy, rainy weather of Fall has arrived here. The cloud cover is beautiful, sun shines through dark clouds, Birds fill the sky in a multitude of colors, searching for shelter before the rain comes down.
We are still looking for a bigger house to move to,I am finding as the days pass with still nothing we have seen is right. I am getting discouraged!! I think some days that we will never find a house!!
But then I realize we are all fine and happy and sooner or later we will find what we are looking for!

Emmy was outside in the yard, discovering her world once again. She is always amazed by the things she finds, she Loves looking at the sky, the clouds seem to grab her attention longer than anything else dose, she stands looking up till she gets dizzy then she sits down and will continue to look up at the wonder's she see's in the sky!
I recomend taking time to look up at a cloud and beyond what is right here at any given moment, Daydream for a while.

I spent this rainy day just playing with and watching Emmy. At one point She stood at the glass doors just watching the rain hit the ground, totally content and amazed at what she was seeing, and once again I found myself on my knees at the same door with her watching and listenning and again I was in AWE of the simple splender of rain drops and the sounds they make! Thank you Emmy for showing me again how wonderious and amazing the simplest things are .

I Was reading my favorite blog Dairy wife, I have the same problem with my 2 year old.. I think I am raising an OWL!!! She dose NOT sleep! I have not slept in Month's...
She dose not take nap's either and still, I am trying to get her to sleep sometime before midnight!! LOL!
There is'nt enough coverup on the planet for the BAG's I am getting under my eyes!!
Forget any romance... By the time she finially goes to sleep, I am exhusted and Hubby is sound asleep!!
I think 2 year old have a LOT of nerve having Temper Tantrums!!!
I need to have one! LOL
I do however allow myself 5 minutes a day to have a total breakdown! It work's, try it..
I usually go into the bathroom and wring face cloths, while engageing in some very colorfull conversation with the woman in my mirror. She was once smart and SANE!!! LOL..
I would settle now just to be able to go PEE in peace!
I just went to check on Emmy, she put three rolls of toilet paper into the sink and had the water running!!! Ever wring out toilet paper?? YUCK!!! I look on the bright side.. she could have put it into the toilet and flushed, All in all it's not so bad... Anyone have a roll I can borrow now till I get to the store????
